Home made Kirschtorte- checked! Home made Schnitzel- checked! Friendly staffs- checked! Kids play ground- checked! It is worthy to drive a little bit away from the downtown to here, price is affordable and food is fresh. No reservations available and might take a while to be leaded to seat if it is crowded.

Food was delicious and the service was prompt and very kind! Our hostess spoke English pretty well and was patient with our attempts in German 😂 very good, we will be back with friends and family!

We stopped off for lunch on our way to view the cuckoo clocks and the waterfalls. We opted for the chicken salad and the potato strudel, which was the veggie option. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The only annoyance was the wasps that kept trying to get our drinks.

Wonderful location next to the lake overlooking a nice playground. So we could stay warmly indoor while our kids are play happily outside. Everything we ordered were super tasty and comes in very generous portion, also great wine and very lovely and friendly service. All 4 of us enjoyed it very much. Also thank you for letting me tried on the bollenhut. :-)

Beautifully located right next to a lovely little pond/lake with nice seating and good staff. The food here was great, one of us having the flank steak and the other the rump, the flank steak was the definite favourite. The food was well seasoned, with good quality ingredients and reasonably priced ($$). Staff were friendly and it was an evening to be enjoyed sitting here with the view over the water.
Great food and service! Location is perfect, after the visit of waterfall. During lunch time this place will be crowded, so plan your visit wisely.

We stopped because this place has the highest rating for a restaurant open before 5PM and after normal lunch time. The staff was very friendly and immediately made us comfortable upon arriving. They catered to the children by providing their own table mat and toys that are difficult to destroy and not noisy. The children's menu includes drink, main dish, ice cream, and a candy. The portions are large enough for most 10-12 year old children to be full. The adult menu is in German, but the servers professionally explain the menu in English if necessary. The food is a high quality German meal experience, and the staff is very polite to all people and their children. I would come back again and again for relaxation and fine dining.Great lunch! Lovely tuna salad followed by delicious solea strudel and coffee. Friendly, efficient service. The Spanish waiter was funny and really helpful. A gem of a place!
The food was really really good and at a very fair price. Two main courses and one large glass of wine cost us shy of €35. The restaurant is by a small lake and it has a nice and peaceful atmosphere. Would come again if I return to Triberg
Nice restaurant with a good outside patio seating. Great place to stop by for a drink or some food after a hike in the Triberg waterfall hiking area. They have a good variety of entree options, including vegetarian. I had curry pasta with chicken, and the sauce was fantastic. Staff is helpful and speak a bit of English as well. As in all, a good place to end your hike and top it off with beer and or some ice cream.
Very friendly service, delicious regional food and warm & cozy ambience. In the winter, you can rent skates & ice skate on the frozen pond right outside the restaurant, then warm up afterwards with coffee or a nice hot meal. We tried the pulled pork & house salad; both were amazing! Located near the exit/entrance of one of the trails leading to Triberger Waterfall.
Great regional food and awesome service. They have a frozen lake/pond to ice skate on before or after the food! The pulled pork is amazing, definitely recommend it!
The food was good and the service excellent. The noodles are very tasty. The staff was very friendly and looked after our table of 5 adults and 4 children.
